I am sorry that I am so far behind on my posts!! life just gets in the way and facebook kinda just takes over. So I have a lot of cakes I need to update so bare with me, this might turn into a novel!! HAHAHA
Ok so back in august I had the chance to do a cake for my nephew........who doesn't eat ANY sugar!!! I was like what? Then I remembered a fruit cake that I had pinned that I know he would eat!! I was really fun to put together, HOWEVER the bees loved this cake so much it was kinda dangerous to even attempt getting a piece!! Ha ha.
Then we have a cute beachy wedding cake, a cute cowboy themed birthday cake, Snips of Snails and puppy dog tails and sugar and spice and everything nice birthday cake for twins, another cute but small wedding cake that I based the design off of a
Thrity One Gifts purse that I have, I just changed the lime green to the hot pink. There is also a lego themed birthday cake for a cute 8 year old boy and his baptism cake, a cops and robbers cake for my friends, sons 6th birthday and a sponge bob cake and cupcakes for a little boy turning 2, an Australian flag mission farewell cake, a sculpted monarch butterfly cake, and a wreck it ralph cake. Some of the most recent ones close to the bottom are a finding nemo cake, my very own daughters 5th birthday cake that was a cinderella themed dress cake, and the most recent was a 7 year old girls nutcracker birthday themed cake! I LOVE DOING THIS!! I absolutely love making cakes! I love the look on peoples faces as I present the cake to them. I love the feeling I get when I know I have done a good job!! enjoy the pics I will include a description of what each cake is underneath the picture itself

Wedding cake for a super cute bride and a grooms cake for her honey! The big cake is Oatmeal spice with cream cheese frosting filling. The grooms cake is Chocolate with peanut butter buttercream. |

This cake was done for a cute 3rd birthday. It was chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream with pb cup pieces intermingled in there as well! OH SO YUMMY! |

This was a cake that was for a giveaway that I did in connection with Latter day chatter. I had an ad on there for a little bit. But this cake was a simple but delicious white cake with vanilla buttercream filling. It was for twins and the theme was Sugar and spice and everything nice and Snips of snails and puppy dog tails. |

This was a wedding cake that I did for a cute family who has used me quite a bit for cakes, which I sincerely appreciate. I based the design off of Thirty One Gifts, Sea plaid design as well as their Teal dot design. I changed the lime green in the sea plaid design to a hot pink cause that was one of their colors. This cake as well was a delicious white cake with vanilla buttercream filling. |

This cute lego cake has handmade fondant legos on it....ok well I had a mold but they are not real legos, despite what they might look like :) This cake was strawberry cake with a strawberry filling. |
|
This one was for the same kid as the lego cake was for. It was his baptism cake! This was chocolate cake, with peppermint buttercream filling. |
|
Cute cops and robbers cake for a friends, son's 6th birthday party! The bottom tier was yellow cake, chocolate fudge frosting filling. The top tier "jail" was a chocolate with a peanut butter buttercream. I made all the fondant decorations on it. |
|
This cute sponge bob cake was for a cute 2 year old boy. The big cake was a butter pecan cake with a caramel nutty filling.....YUMO!!! I was seriously so glad that there was scraps of this cake cause it was SO good! The cupcakes were confetti and chocolate with chocolate mousse filling and a raspberry filling. |

These two cakes were for different people. the top cake was for a mission farewell of a kid whose parents live in the neighborhood I grew up in! I remember this kid when he was a baby, so it was cool to see him leave for a mission. although it makes me feel pretty old! lol his cake was a combo, german chocolate layer and a red velvet layer with vanilla buttercream frosting. The butterfly cake was for a high school friends little girl who turned 7 and just loves butterflies. Her cake was a white cake with a scrumptious whipped cream filling. |

This cute wreck it ralph cake was a trade I did with a friend. She made me a dress for my brothers wedding and I made her son his birthday cake. I think it turned out really cute. It sad that I can't remember that far back but I am pretty sure it was a white cake, I know for sure that I put chocolate mousse filling in there cause it was acting up on me! |
|
Super cute finding nemo cake for a super cute 1 year old!! It was a white cake with a fresh strawberry filling! |
|
This cake I am super fond and proud of! This is my daughters 5th birthday cake! She was cinderella for halloween and since her birthday is the day before Halloween we decided to carry the theme over to her birthday party. This was such a fun cake to make and if I do say so myself I think it turned out amazing! It was, of course my favorite, chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream with bits of pb cup in it! yes i did ask what my daughter wanted and she did pick this out, but I was excited that she wanted it too! |
|
This is my most recent cake. Remember the cute tractor cake with all the farm animals on it? well this cake was for his older sister who was having a nutcracker themed cake. It was a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling. I made the little figurines as well as the little tree on top out of fondant. |
