Barney Wedding

I had the opportunity to make a wedding cake for a family friend this past week.  From the moment I saw the pic of what she wanted I thought "I have to do this wedding cake"  Thankfully they wanted me to do it as well.  It was so incredibly stunning!  I made her a lemon cake with lemon buttercream.  The decoration was what I could only describe as fondant petals coming off the cake!  We used yellow stargazer lilies and blue orchids on the cake.  Here are the pics of the completed masterpiece!  I got such a great compliment from the photographer (who I hope will send me some of the pics he took of the cake), he said "being in this business, I have seen literally hundreds if not thousands of cakes and this one is one of the most unique and beautiful I have seen!"  Made me feel pretty darn good!
